Message from CEO
Soka International School Malaysia (SISM), founded by its founder, Dr Daisaku Ikeda, was able to celebrate its opening in August 2023 with the support and guidance of many people. He mentions that SISM aims to be a school where “an unending stream of bright, talented youth who will contribute to the well-being of the people and the welfare of society and the world” will “fledge and take flight into the vast skies of the world”.
Malaysia celebrates multicultural coexistence. It’s a campus surrounded by a rich natural environment with outstanding buildings and facilities and having highly competent teachers with rich experience. Its curriculum is based on international programmes that are well recognised around the world. In this excellent educational environment, all of us, the teaching and non-teaching staff are determined to devote ourselves to fostering “genuine learners” and “global citizens”.
It is our sincere wish that as many young people will join SISM and have a golden time of learning and cultivating friendship in SISM which our founder expects to be a school to serve as a “new cradle from which global citizens that will set forth to contribute to the peace and happiness of all people”.
In this regard, to further enhance our scholarship programme, we would like to request for your support to the SISM Education Fund. Purpose of Education Fund
Soka International School Malaysia (SISM) is a school that aims to produce “genuine learners” and “global citizens” with a rich combination of humanity, intelligence and practical capability. SISM provides a world-class learning environment and the highest standards of education to realise our lofty ideals.
SISM is striving to further enhance its scholarship programme to support students who have financial difficulties in their studies as well as to encourage academic excellence, and is working to expand the education fund through the generosity of people from all over the world.
Your continued support of this educational fund will serve as a foundation for SISM, so that more and more students can enjoy the best education. We sincerely hope that you will join in with the ideals that SISM stands for and we would be grateful for your contribution.
How Will These Funds Be Utilised
The Education Fund will be used for the following purposes:
- To provide financial aid to students facing economic challenges in pursuing their studies
- Scholarships to encourage and reward outstanding students
- Promotion and advancement of educational initiatives

We accept contributions through bank transfer. Overseas supporters of SISM can send their financial contributions to: SOKA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY MALAYSIA SDN BHD.
This is the registered legal entity established to receive all foreign contributions for the SISM education fund.
